It’s been three years since HIGH REEPER graced us with their presence on the “Doom Sessions Vol. 5” split, and they’re back with a vengeance. Their new album, “Renewed By Death”, promises to be their most epic endeavour yet. Picture this: eight tracks that drag you into the abyss with monolithic riffs, face-melting guitar solos echoing the legends like George Lynch and Dave Navarro, and vocals so powerful they could knock out a heavyweight champ. This album is a relentless heavy metal assault from start to finish.
Formed in 2016, HIGH REEPER quickly made waves in the heavy metal scene. Signed to Heavy Psych Sounds Records shortly after their inception, they’ve already dropped two full-length albums and a split EP. Their electrifying live performances have taken them across Europe, playing nearly 90 dates over three tours. They’ve rocked stages at HPS Fests in Rome and Innsbruck, Desertfest Berlin and Antwerp, headlined their own stage at Desertfest London, and even torn it up at the Esbjerg Fuzztival.
Starting with a sound deeply rooted in modern stoner metal, HIGH REEPER has evolved with each release. Their journey through line-up changes and musical exploration has led them to this moment: a brand new 35-minute metal odyssey that not only pays homage to the ’80s and early ’90s but also propels them into the future. “Renewed By Death” is set to redefine their sound and carve their name even deeper into the heavy metal landscape.
