Grooming & Game With Just For Men
I was invited by Just For Men to visit renowned barber shop, Nomad Barber LDN (check them out here) to get a haircut and beard trim followed by watching the Miami Dolphins take on the New Orleans Saints in the UK tour of the NFL.
This is a big deal for the UK, as America’s number one most followed sport comes to the UK and showcases the best teams (as far as I am concerned) at the home of English Football, Wembley Stadium. American Football is not as popular in the UK as it is in the United States, there are no main franchises, so when the NFL comes it is a big deal.
This year sees Just For Men serving as the official main sponsor of the NFL in the UK and Ireland, as well as Germany and France. The event was awesome, I managed to link up with good friends Carl (A Blokes Eye View) and Dan (Life Of Dan), we devoured our Bleecker Street Burgers and I opted for the blue cheese burger with their iconic angry fries. Washed down with a cheeky beer.
Just for Men is the guy-friendly hair care expert that gives men the freedom to look the way they want with a large variety of advanced, grey care products for men.
I was excited to check out their product line and the main product portfolio includes their Original Formula, Autostop, Moustache & Beard and the latest addition to their line, Control GX, a grey-reducing shampoo, which from reading the information on the packaging sounds awesome if you want to take away the use of using hair dyes and the mess this can cause.
I have wanted to get a cut at Nomad Barber for a long while now, ever since being a keen follower on their YouTube channel and checking out some of the bizarre and unique locations, Miguel Gutierrez uses to cut hair. The cut was what I was expecting, sharp, clean and tight! Ryan James (check Ryan out here), their senior barber really supplied with this cut and was a really good chat to find out he used to be an ex-footballer in his youth for Crystal Palace.
The cut I had done was a bald-skin fade, with an executive cut on top with razor part, slicked with Uppercut Deluxe’s Matt Pomade. After the event, we went to have a stroll around Brick Lane to take outfit photos. The outfit was supplied by Boohoo for the launch of their new Big & Tall range which you can check out here.
Let me know if you use Just for Men and your routine, or your favourite spot on Brick Lane.
